3 Maginus B2B eCommerce Solutions are Making Waves in Forrester Wave Report

 

At Maginus, we are delighted that our three core eCommerce solutions have been highly acclaimed in the 2017 Forrester Wave report.

A new report by Forrester identifies 11 B2B eCommerce providers as being the most significant B2B commerce suite providers. All vendors were evaluated against a range of business and technology criteria. The reports intention is to demonstrate how each of the 11 vendors measures up-helping businesses make the right choice when choosing a provider.

 

Out of the top 11 vendors highlighted in the report, we are thrilled that all of Maginus' eCommerce solutions: Magento, Episerver and Sana have been recognised as the top 11 B2B commerce providers.

 

The 11 solutions were able to demonstrate competencies in four key areas including the ability to:

 

  • Illustrate a strong focus on B2B commerce

  • Possess critical components of a standalone B2B commerce suite

  • Produce at least $10 million in total B2B-specfic commerce revenue

  • And have a notable mindshare amongst Forrester clients and is frequently mentioned in the context of inquiries, briefings and consulting engagements.

The 11 vendors were classified into one of three groups; 'leading the pack', 'a strong contender' or 'a contender'.

 

How did Maginus’ solutions stack up against the criteria?

Individually, Magento has been identified in the report as a leader, with comments from the Forrester report that Magento ‘is a best fit for midsize B2B companies that want an open, feature-rich solution that they can extend easily and inexpensively by way of a large network of Magento Commerce system integration partners and developers’.

Forrester classified Episerver as a strong performer and as ‘a best fit for mid-market customers looking for a CMS-driven solution that offers tightly integrated commerce capabilities’.

The report recognised Sana as a contender with comments that it ‘is best for companies that want to directly extend their investment in their SAP or Microsoft ERP with a fast time-to-market and quite functional eCommerce solution’.
