Cecil Jacobs Ltd trading as Jacobs, the largest independent photographic retailer in the UK, has selected a Multi Channel Commerce platform from Maginus to improve the customer experience across all channels and enhance customer service.

MCCbyTVH, a Microsoft Dynamics AX solution, will be implemented in all 17 UK stores, including Epos lanes, as well as in the back office and central distribution centre. The complete solution suite also provides a fully integrated e-Commerce solution replacing the existing Jacobs transactional website, so all sales channels will be centred on a single solution for an improved customer experience, increasing efficiency & productivity. The solution is highly scaleable and will continue to support the company as it grows. Maginus is also hosting Dynamics and the online store through its fully managed specialist Retail-Hosting datacenter which provides scalability and flexibility as seasonal demand changes.

Jacobs required a flexible solution that would integrate business processes providing visibility and increased efficiency. The Maginus solution will enable Jacobs to provide a true multi-channel experience, with the aim of positioning it as the leading specialist photographic company in the UK.
