Before using Maginus, field sales staff would have to report back to the head office at the end of day by faxing through documents or calling the office, with the information then having to be manually inputed. Now staff can use a PDA device to place sales orders and obtain customer quotes from any location, and are able to automatically access information in real time on stock levels and availability. The result is faster, more efficient processing of sales orders.
“We have used the Maginus ERP system for the past three years, and added Maginus Mobile to complement the solution,” said Gary Molloy, Trilanco’s IT Manager. “Our field sales team have found the reporting function a key benefit. All information is in real time, ensuring accurate stock data. They can now do a number of tasks, including updating customer account details and raising Purchase Orders, all whilst away from the office.”
