Lamberts Healthcare in healthy shape with Maginus ERP

Lamberts Healthcare, the UK’s leading supplier of specialist dietary supplements to consumers, health practitioners and pharmacists, has selected Maginus to supply and implement an ERP system that will help it achieve greater business efficiencies, increase sales and boost its profitability.

Lamberts selected Maginus ERP to manage its complex multi-channel, multi-brand business, which includes the B2B brand Lamberts and the B2C brand Nature’s Best, as its existing system no longer matched its business requirements.

Maginus ERP will provide Lamberts with a system that will deliver greater efficiencies in its contact centre, tighter integration within sales channels and improved customer service. It will also manage finance, sales and marketing, including field sales force, sales order processing and warehousing. The strong roadmap, showing future development plans was another key element in the selection of the Maginus solution.

John Redman,MD, Lamberts, said, “Our existing system wasn’t providing us with the functionality and support that we need as a growing business. We conducted a thorough review of the market and the Maginus solution offers us the best fit for our business. We needed a system that’s fully PCI compliant, as this is business critical and the software is very user friendly. We wanted a ‘one stop shop’ solution, and the Maginus technology will give us scalability, flexibility and cost savings, and the system will be a platform for expansion.”

The system is due to go live in May 2009 and will have 50 users.

Redman continued, “The new solution will give us the chance to look at new ways of doing business, and enable us to exploit potential business development opportunities.”

Russell Dorset, Sales and Marketing Director, Maginus, said, “We are looking forward to working with Lamberts and demonstrating how our ERP system will act as an enabler for its business growth. This is a business critical operation for the company, and we are confident that Lamberts will be delighted with the results.”
