Maginus’s Academy Programme enables fast-track career progression into the IT industry, through professional skills development combined with commercial experience. Our specialised training programme takes 3 years to complete. Within the programme there is also the opportunity to gain industry recognised certifications.
As industry experts, Maginus is able to provide you with the most commercially relevant IT training; introducing you to technologies and skills that are being utilised today within some of the largest companies in the world. The programme is designed to equip you with specialist expertise, soft skills and business awareness, crucial for the success of your IT career.
Our training streams will help you become a Consultant within our Professional Services Business Unit.
Training is full time, in-house at our Manchester Office or at Client site and highly milestone orientated. You will be in a business environment working closely with other like-minded individuals and will benefit from the on-going support of the Maginus Graduate Mentor.
Entry Assessments
Everyone joining Maginus has to attend an assessment and interview session first. We hold group assessment sessions and one-to-one interviews in Manchester. These sessions are designed to find out whether you are suitable for the Maginus Academy Programme and ultimately, a career as a Consultant.Applicants must have at least a 2:1 in any degree discipline.

The Maginus Academy Programme was formed to meet the growing needs of Microsoft Dynamics AX skillsets. We need people who have a strong work ethic and who can make a contribution from day one.

Maginus has devised a solution to the classic catch-22 scenario; you need experience to get a job, but you cannot get a job without experience. Our Academy training also addresses both of the key criticisms from IT leaders on those entering the IT industry; that they are either not educated in, or don’t know how to apply, commercially relevant technical skills, and lack business awareness.

Our approach works because we bring people and technology together in the most effective way, and know what we are looking for in terms of fresh talent. The Academy Programme is designed to prepare you for this over a 3 year period; developing your functional/technical abilities for the workplace, improving your soft skills and ensuring you know what to expect, and are able to deliver on what we and the client will expect from you.
Working with our clients you will gain valuable experience as an Maginus Consultant. Many of our consultants are surprised to find themselves working at prestigious company sites during their first year, which without Maginus, they may never have had the opportunity.
