Simon Weeks, CEO
Simon Weeks joined Maginus from K3 Business Technology Group where he was Managing Director of the multi-channel retail and distribution business. Simon has over 15 years senior management experience and deep software industry expertise from previous roles in sales management, consulting, customer services and systems development. Prior to joining K3, Simon held senior roles in a number of global technology companies including: NASDAQ Listed Ross Systems Inc., Visibility Corporation and Cincom Systems Inc.

Rick Medford, Director of Professional Services
Rick has spent the last 19 years working in IT. With previous experience at Vertex, Marks & Spencer, Fine Décor and the Boddington Group, he has developed expertise in software-assisted process transformation. He has a successful track record in project delivery and is a specialist in CRM. As Director of Professional Services, he is responsible for looking after the customer delivery arm at Maginus, overseeing the successful delivery of new systems, upgrades and customer-specific modifications.

Russell Dorset, Director of Sales and Marketing
Russell Dorset has over 20 years’ experience in the software industry in a range of senior sales, marketing and operational management roles. As Director of Sales and Marketing, he drives the sales of Maginus’ business management systems :– Maginus ERP the company’s flagship solution for multi-channel retail and distribution, and Dynamics AX Microsoft’s mid-market solution. Russell joined Maginus from K3 Business Technology Group plc where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, Russell was a divisional Director at Misys plc.

Mark Thornton, Director of e-Commerce
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the software industry including roles in software development, consulting, sales and general management. He previously worked for Visibility Corporation, a US-based ERP company, where he was Managing Director of their European subsidiary. Before joining Visibility, Mark gained experience working for Mentec International, where he spent ten years. As Director of e-Commerce he advises on all areas of e-Commerce development, including usability, search engine optimisation, affiliate marketing and back office integration.

Simon Dunleavy, Director of Managed Services
Simon joined Maginus 10 years ago from the Lord Chancellor’s Department (now the Department of Constitutional Affairs) where he was involved in the early design and testing stages of the development of the Statute Law Database. As Director of Managed Services, Simon is responsible for Maginus’ Technical Services business unit. Stephen Parker, Director of Product Development
Stephen has worked in the IT industry for 18 years, the majority of that time being spent in a retail or FMCG environment. After graduating, he joined Sema Group where he progressed through software development roles to Project Management. Stephen joined Maginus in 1996. In his role as Director of Product Development, he combines a Support Services function, encompassing service delivery and implementation tasks, with responsibility developing and delivering new product releases.

Harold Levy, Chairman
Harold is the founder and Chairman of Maginus Software Solutions. After graduating in engineering at Loughborough University, he worked in industry for some five years before joining the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology where he obtained a Masters and Doctorate. In 1972 he was a founder member of Mancos, a company that specialised in developing software solutions for the high tech and distribution sector. In 1992 he separated the software development team from Mancos and set it up as a separate entity called Maginus Software Solutions.

Terry Wilcox, Non-Executive Director
Terry Wilcox has over 30 years experience in IT. He has held numerous senior management roles including : Sales and Marketing Director of CODA Group plc, Vice President of Kana Inc. and Chief Executive of Silknet Europe Limited. He is currently Commercial Director of Proactis Holdings PLC.
